To help us assist with Core Web Vital questions, identify more performance issues, examine historical performance, and cross verify performance improvements, we recommend granting Render Better access to your website’s Google Search Console and Google Analytics if you have these set up for your website.
Granting permissions to Search Console
Google Search Console access will allow us to monitor your Core Web Vitals and dig into specific URL issues when necessary.
Instructions:
- Please log in to https://search.google.com/search-console
- Select your account in the top left (either the domain property your-domain.com or individual URLs depending on how it was set up)
- Click "Settings" at the bottom of the left hand menu
- Click "Users and Permissions"
- Or you can click this link to go to the “Manage Users and Permissions”: https://search.google.com/search-console/users
- Click the "add user" blue button in the top right
Enter analytics@renderbetter.com and grant "Full" access.
Granting permissions to Google Analytics
Google Analytics access allows us to monitor how web performance impacts other parts of the user experience and business metrics.
Instructions:
1. Log in to your Google Analytics account and go to Admin (bottom left).
2. Under Account, click Account Access Management.
3. Click the blue plus icon (top right) and select Add users
4. Enter our email address: analytics@renderbetter.com and check the box for Editor
5. Click Add
