Why hasn’t my Shopify Site Speed Score changed?

This is an expected behavior since Shopify measures the performance of the page directly hosted from Shopify. This number is also notoriously inaccurate since Shopify uses simulated methods to measure the performance of the site which is not indicative of the real user experience.

The best practice is to utilize Core Web Vitals in Google’s Search Console to determine how your visitors are experiencing your site’s performance.
